ALCA i is one extraordinary vessel. The vessel was designed and built to serve as an oceanographic laboratory for the builder's (also owner and operator) research in sub-arctic waters. The vessel has been extremely well built and is very well suited to its intended purpose. This is the 9th vessel the owner has owned and operated for his marine research, and the attention to design and detail is the culmination of many years of knowledge and experience (every system has a backup).  In addition to being built in accordance with the standards of ABYC, NFP A and applicable USCG requirements for recreational vessels, certain details of construction and equipment installations (for example fuel tanks and watertight bulkheads) have been carried out in conformance with USCG "T Boat" requirements, as covered in 46USC Part 175 and subsequently, to enhance possible future use of the vessel as a Coast Guard inspected small passenger vessel, or could easily be converted as a private Motorsailer with a three cabin, two head layout.  NOTE: WOODEN BOAT ARTICLE & ALSO OWNER'S DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

The Huckins 53 Linwood Motor Cruiser is a masterpiece of Huckins engineering with twin 325 hp diesels mounted under the stern cockpit, offering a fast and quiet ride, in an easy-to-handle family cruiser. Her spacious layout offers two comfortable staterooms with two heads, a crews quarters forward for two with a separate head, a "down galley" and mid cabin "living" salon. On deck is a large weather protected helm and bridgedeck with U-shaped seating, table and wicker chairs. Further aft is a roomy aft cockpit area.

SEA SPIRIT'S knowledgeable owner purchased the vessel in 1983 and has carefully and lovingly maintained her since. He is proud to say he has been a "hands-on" owner. Both Detroit diesels have been removed and professionally rebuilt - the port engine was rebuilt in 1998 in Kennebunk, Maine and the starboard engine was rebuilt in 1987 in Florida. 1973 hours are showing on the meters and the meters were never reset - there are approximately 500 hours since the rebuilds. SEA SPIRIT is now seriously for sale due to the owner's change of plans. Here is an opportunity to acquire a handsome, true Classic at a VERY attractive offering price. She would make an ideal liveaboard or blue water "north-south" cruiser. She has been stored indoors in a shed since 2004. Despite this, we recommend and encourage all serious inquiries.

Please call us for further details and viewing instructions. Thank you for your interest.

OCEAN RANGER is one of the handsome Classic-looking 50' Fantail 50 Pilothouse trawlers with a flying bridge built by Transworld Custom Yachts in Taiwan in 1989. Only nine Fantail 50's were ever built and only two built with a flying bridge. Her present owners purchased her in April 2007 and are believed to be her third owners. Since 2007, her knowledgeable and diligent owners have made numerous improvements and upgrades as described in her detailed listing description. Please review carefully. This trawler makes the ideal liveaboard with elegant, commodious accommodations for 4-6 people in two staterooms and two heads; a main salon which is as spacious as most living rooms, a covered aft deck, and a bright and functional pilothouse. OCEAN RANGER has a single 135 hp Perkins with approximately 5600 hours. These engines are designed to go easily 10,000 hours, and only burn 2.5 gph at 6-7 knots. Fuel efficiency is the important feature, and with the 8 hp Sidepower Bow Thruster and Naiad stabilizers, OCEAN RANGER is very maneuverable and seaworthy. Other features include a "come home" engine, an 8kw generator, 3 zone air conditioning, reverse cycle heat, full complement of electronics, and new maroon canvas. The addition of her flying bridge makes her more desirable than other sisterships due to better visibility and more outdoor living space. Please call to make an appointment to view this Fantail trawler; we think you will be impressed. Thank you for your interest.

TATE is the last of 25 FD-12 Cutters built by Ta Yang Company, the same high quality yard which built the Tayana's. The FD-12 is a powerful, high performance bluewater cruiser, with her positive flotation, high freeboard and her canoe stern. She is a safe and dry boat, capable of cruising the globe. The present owner purchased her in 2002 from her Dutch designer, Willem Eickholt, who personally owned this vessel. Since then, this owner has sailed her to Alaska, transited the Panama Canal in 2010, across the Caribbean and North to Maine. He has made numerous upgrades as specified in the listing above which have totaled about $100,000. TATE is one impressive vessel. Please call us today for your inspection and thank you for your interest.

PRICE REDUCED FOR FALL SALE. COME AND VIEW HER. SHE IS A SHOW PIECE!

SAYONARA was built to exceedingly high standards in 1956 by Paul Luke's Yard in East Boothbay, Maine and designed by the renowned designer, K. Aage Nielsen of Denmark. These two highly regarded firms provide no finer pedigree. SAYONARA has had only 5 owners in her 70 years. Her present owners purchased her in 1976 and have lovingly and carefully maintained her to first class condition. Being knowledgeable longtime members of the Ocean Cruising Club and CCA, their stated goal was to be the best "stewards" of this lovely Classic, ensuring that her structure was kept in "Bristol" condition and her equipment was in top working order. With the outstanding care and expert help of Rockport Marine, they have achieved their goal. SAYONARA is considered the "Queen" of the Rockport Marine's fleet.

SAYONARA is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but she has proven to be offshore capable, sea kindly, fast in "around the buoy" races, and a comfortable cruising vessel for six, having been as far North as Cape Breton Island and as far South as the Bahamas, as well as offshore to Bermuda. For once, it is rare to find a vessel that deserves these superlatives. SAYONARA has been rigged to be sailed by two, with an electric roller furling mainsail and electric winches.

Please call us to inspect this outstanding classic. You will not be disappointed, and thank you for your interest.

In 2000, new twin Cummins diesels were installed, and she was completely rewired with new circuit breaker panels. Maintained in true Bristol fashion.

The Able 44' Downeast Express Cruiser reminds one of the handsome, traditional "wooden" Bunker and Ellis "picnic" cruisers, built in the Mt. Desert Island region of Maine 40-50 years ago. MASCOTTE, however, offers all the advantages of modern day fiberglass technology without sacrificing any elegance or beauty. MASCOTTE is a semi-custom-built vessel. Only six of these Able Express Cruisers were built. What makes this design so unique and pleasing? Her vee hull shape forward flattens out aft to a hard chine, similar to a lobster boat, so you have speed and fuel economy, and maneuverability, at all speeds, slow or fast, something not found in most vee bottomed vessels. MASCOTTE also combines living space on deck with an exceptionally well designed interior layout. Her cherry joinerwork is some of the finest this office has seen, and storage is unusually well-executed and generous compared to most other Express-style Cruisers. If you are looking for something unique, with the best quality one can find, offering 20 knot cruising speeds, MASCOTTE may be your vessel. She will not disappoint. She is a one-owner vessel which has been kept impeccably, from clean bilges to first class varnish work. Please call for your inspection and thank you for your interest.

PANACHE is a classic, high quality yacht designed by German Frers and built by Frers and Cibils in Argentina. Launched in 1985 she has the distinction of being one of only 6 sloops out of the fleet of 70 F&C 44’s built (most were ketch rigged). PANACHE has been carefully re-fitted by Paul E. Luke in East Boothbay, stored inside and meticulously maintained by her owner since 2010, who is her second owner. With her "Swan-like" handsome lines, her pronounced tumblehome, and breathtakingly beautiful interior of South American woods, PANACHE certainly lives up to her name. She has an impressive race record and is very capable of bringing home "The Silver". Please note that PANACHE does not suffer from some of the problem areas that other F&C 44's have had. Her teak decks have been refastened and repayed, and are in excellent condition. Her bottom has been blasted and epoxied for a racing-smooth finish. Her Sloop rig makes her faster than her ketch-rigged sisterships.
Please call us for your inspection and thank you for your interest.

SEA HAWK has had only two owners in her 35 years. Her present owner purchased her in 1992 and being an engineer, he has made numerous improvements to her hull and fittings, and therefore her sailing performance (see Hull & Deck description above), bringing home numerous cups and silver under a PHRF handicap rule - Whalers Race, Round The Bay Race, Hurricane Cup & Edgartown Yacht Club Around The Island Race. One never thinks of a 44' Gulfstar Center Cockpit Sloop as being capable of winning PHRF races, but this is a testament to her owner's ability. SEA HAWK is quite obviously, well suited as a comfortable liveaboard as well, with an abundance of storage lockers, in three separate cabins and two heads with showers. For anyone who is looking for a combination of speed and livable space, SEA HAWK is worthy of your highest consideration. She is offered at a very attractive asking price for her size and equipment. Although she has been on the hard, covered, for the past 3 seasons, she has been looked after by her caring owner and can be easily and quickly launched. Please call us for your inspection of this impressive vessel and thank you for your interest.

Hallberg Rassy's have set the standard for the most seaworthy and best built "Bluewater" vessel in production today. She comes complete with CE-A Ocean certificate, few vessels built today are able to meet these rigid qualifications.

For those sailors who are looking for the ultimate offshore, blue water cruising vessel, look no further. UNDINE is a 2003 43'  Hallberg Rassy Sloop with the preferred 5'10" reduced draft, designed by the renowned German Frers. She is easily handled by a couple due to her leisure furl boom and furling headsails, and Lewmar 58 S.T. electric winches. She also has the larger 76 hp Volvo diesel, over the standard 55 hp.

Other impressive features include all new 2014 Raymarine electronics, Bow Thruster, a 2016 Sunbrella Dodger, Dual action windlass, 5kw generator, air conditioning and heat as well as Webasto heat, cockpit enclosure and bimini, and much more.

COASTER II, ( this is the original name), is a clipper-bowed, two-masted gaff-rigged topsail schooner designed and originally owned by master designer Murray Peterson. She was built in 1933 at the Goudy & Stephens boatyard at East Boothbay, Maine. COASTER II was the second in a series of three schooners Peterson designed to replicate the craftsmanship and appearance of late 19th century coasting schooners. She was built as a yacht and is registered as a National Historic vessel. COASTER II has been through a significant restoration and retains outstanding integrity to her original design and construction. She has sailed around Cape Horn and is believed to have won the Trans-Pac race in the late '40's or '50's. She was the only American flag vessel to place in her class in the 2002 Pacific Tall Ship Challenge. In 2003, she raced in the American Schooner Cup race in San Diego. It is rare that a vessel of this pedigree comes available at a very reasonable value. COASTER II shows very well which is a testament to her knowledgeable, caring ownership. The present owner is a boatbuilder whom has built many traditional small boats. He has upgraded COASTER II with new sails, new electrical system, new interior rebuild, and much new hull work as described above. Please call us to view this traditional schooner. This is a superb opportunity. Thank you for your interest.

ACADIA is one of 13 or 14 Alden Caravelle 42' yawls built in Hundested Denmark by the renowned Poul E. Molich yard. These hulls were constructed by Halmatic Ltd in England and shipped to Denmark to be finished as the Danish craftsmanship and quality of the teak, mahogany and finishwork was unsurpassed at that time. Due to the heavy solid fiberglass hull and decks, these classics are now highly sought after by "collectors" of fine yachts. They hold their value much the same way the Hinckley yachts do; however, it is well-known that the Alden Caravelles have a better sailing performance due to their long keel versus the keel-centerboard found on the Hinckley Bermuda 40's. Many Caravelles raced successfully under the CCA rule in Marblehead to Halifax and Newport to Bermuda races. ACADIA shows extremely well as she has benefited from an extensive refit in 2003 and 2004. This included a new engine, extensive rewiring, Awlgrip paint of hull and deck, new Dynel housetop, Awlgrip paint on her spars, new Ulmer sails and Harken roller furling, new cushions covers, new stove, autopilot and Radar-GPS-Plotter, new running rigging, and much more. She is presently on the hard in Boothbay as her owners are living in Switzerland now. She is a "work of art" and a pleasure to show for those looking to own "One of the Prettiest Vessels" in the harbor.

WEST OF THE MOON is the only Alden Caravelle built at Roger Morse's boatyard in Thomaston, Maine. She was built in 1969 and is believed to have had only three owners during her 47 years. Her present owner purchased her in 1998 and has maintained her carefully. Please note that her hull was recently Awlgripped white. The teak interior joinery is exquisite and these "Classic" yawls are well-known for their fine sailing characteristics, even winning Bermuda races in their class. WEST OF THE MOON has had a recent significant price reduction. Please call us if you wish to get aboard and thank you for your interest.

SAFARI is one of the impressively-built Mark Ellis designed Cabo Rico Northeast 4000 Motorsailers. These unique vessels have proven to provide 8 knot trawler speeds under power with their 100 hp Yanmar diesels, and high performance under sail, easily reaching 7- 9 knots. This unusual speed for a motorsailer is due to her long waterline, fine entry forward, cutaway forefoot and flat sections aft. The Cabo Rico Northeast 400 really does it all well. She has one of the largest interiors found in a 40 footer, is built to very high standards, is handsome with a lovely sheer, has a deep and safe cockpit and walkways, heavy duty hardware, and two staterooms with a luxurious owner's cabin forward with a queen berth, and masses of storage. The guest cabin is designed as an office, library or second cabin for one. In short, she makes a supremely comfortable liveaboard cruiser which is able, dry and stiff as a sailor.

What makes SAFARI special? Since 2010-2017, her owners have spent well over $250,000 in upgrades. Please note all of her improvements: New standing rigging, New Simrad-B&G networked electronics ($35,000), New Awlgripped hull and spars, New ultrasuede berth cushions, New epoxied bottom, one New fuel tank, New 2017 batteries, rebuilt Balmar alternator, New inverter-charger, New S/S wire double lifelines, New bimini top, New electric Lewmar 44 S.T. sheet winches, New sails and more.

Our office believes there is really nothing left to improve upon. With her Schaefer roller furling main and 150% genoa, she is easily handled by a couple. Who needs to go to the "dark side" when you can still enjoy many years of sailing, all the while powering at trawler speeds. The builder in Costa Rica called to report that these vessels offer much better visibility than other PH Motorsailers as they sail flat, they are stiff as well, and can handle 20 knots without having to reef. One does not have to leave the cockpit to sail this vessel. Please note that a new boat price starts at $650,000.

Please come and inspect this well maintained Motorsailer. Take advantage of this owner's necessary change of plans; an owner who has had decades of owning many special vessels, all kept in first class condition.

DESIDERATA II is s stunning " Downeast" cruiser designed by Spencer Lincoln with both an aft cockpit and aft cabin, offering the best of both worlds - two separate cabins and heads, safe walk-around decks, and easy boarding from swim platform and transom door through the aft cabin. DESIDERATA II is powered with a single 735 hp diesel which was completely rebuilt in 2013 by one of the best mechanical departments in New England, Billing's Diesel & Marine. Since then, the owner has put approximately 300 hours on the engine, and reports that she cruises easily at 15-16 knots. The owner purchased her in 2001, and has performed many improvements and upgrades since then, including a complete Awlgripping of hull, deck and superstructure. He has replaced all exterior teak handrails with stainless steel, upgraded the bow and stern thrusters, added new and more battery capacity along with 3000w inverter installed, new 2014 Raymarine and Garmin electronics, added new 4 man liferaft, new glass cooktop, new 2011 full flybridge enclosure, and so much more. He has been a diligent and caring owner. If you are searching for a custom-built Maine style vessel which offers two cabins, and more speed and efficiency than the standard Grand Banks style trawler, then please consider DESIDERATA II. She is stored in a heated shed all winter and is very easy to view. We thank you for your interest and shall be pleased to get you aboard.

OWNER'S COMMENTS: ELUSIVE has a custom reverse transom making her overall appearance more elegant than standard SW 42's. She has been well cared for and has had several years of indoor storage in the 90’s and covered outdoor storage over the past four years. She is also capable of coastal and offshore passages having made trips to Bermuda, the Bahamas and across the Gulf of Mexico.
In 2007, the rig, deck and sail plan were updated for performance and short-handed sailing which included the conversion to a Leisure Furl boom and electric winches which are within easy reach of the helm. Her battery bank was increased and the high amp alternator was added. The electronics have been subsequently updated in 2010 to the current equipment allowing chart-plotter access at the NAV station and the helm.
The Westerbeke engine was serviced by the Hinckley Oxford yard in 2013. The valves and compression were tested and glow-plugs and the heat exchanger were all replaced. Compression tests were well above minimum specifications as recommended by Westerbeke.
At present, ELUSIVE is the most updated Hinckley Sou'wester 42 available on the brokerage market. She is fast and easily handled being capable of either day/weekend sailing or off-shore cruising.

BEQUIA SUITE is a handsome, teak planked 42´ S&S Motorsailer with ketch rig, inside and outside steering, and an aft cabin. She is an ideal liveaboard/passagemaker and in fact has been cruised to the Bahamas for many winters. Her layout is well-suited for 2 couples offering two staterooms with two heads, a bright pilothouse salon, and spacious galley and dinette opposite. The present owners, who are very knowledgeable, have carefully maintained and upgraded BEQUIA SUITE. We have two recent surveys done by a top NE professional marine surveyor - one in 2012 and one in 2016 - which are available to serious buyers. Comments by the surveyor indicate the vessel was very well built using very resilient tropical hardwoods of superior quality, and has dedicated owners who are diligent in maintaining this handsome, well-built Sparkman & Stephen's vessel. We thank you for your interest and shall be pleased to arrange for an inspection of this highly desirable motorsailer.

This Valiant 40 is not your typical "tired" offshore vessel. CALYPSO has been constantly maintained and upgraded by her knowledgeable, caring owners. They purchased her in 1993 and completed a circumnavigation over many years. Upon returning to Maine, they decided to have her hull Awlgripped and her Nav rod rigging and running rigging replaced. They purchased new sails and a Tides Marine Strong mainsail track to make raising and lowering the mainsail a dream. A new Yanmar 54 hp diesel was installed in 2005. The Valiant 40 continues to be the "top choice" for those who are going to "cut the cord" and go sailing offshore.
Their quality of construction and excellent performance are hard to beat, dollar for dollar. CALYPSO is an outstanding example of this popular design. Please call us for a viewing and thank you for your interest.

BETTY L's handsome Spencer Lincoln hull was built in 1991 (launched 1993) by Covey Island Boatworks in Lunenberg, Nova Scotia, and finished off by her original owners, Colin and Helen Ray, to their own specifications and needs. Colin had been a custom home builder and had previously built two sailboats. BETTY L was built with long range living aboard for two in mind, and particular attention was paid to fuel economy and seaworthiness, so Flopper Stoppers were installed and her 135 hp Ford Lehman sips fuel. The present owner purchased her in 2005 and spent one full year doing the Great Loop, and has enjoyed cruising her throughout New England and Canada. He reports that there are no known leaks and the vessel is extremely stable underway leaving little wake behind. Her interior layout is practical, very attractive and clean, and due to her composite construction, she is quiet, and dry below with no mold or dampness. There are numerous storage lockers throughout, and plenty of tankage to be self sufficient over a long period of time.
BETTY L has had only two owners in her 22 years, and both have been caring and knowledgeable. As a Testament to this, BETTY L has won numerous "Bristol" awards in the Canadian Maritimes and several complimentary articles were written about the boat in Points East and Wooden Boat Magazine (issue 120 in 1994). BETTY L shows very well and she is ready for new ownership and new horizons. Please call us is you wish to get aboard and thank you for your interest.

SEA LION is a custom Downeast style 38' Holland finished to the highest standards by Foley Boatbuilding in Kittery, Maine. She was designed for two people to cruise comfortably or liveaboard, particularly staying on an anchor for extended periods of time. She is equipped with a single 375 hp Cat, and has a bow thruster, Espar diesel heat, propane stove, Isotherm refrigerator/freezer, Xantrex MS2000 inverter-charger, large battery capacity, and excellent electronics. She is also well-known to handle the roughest water with ease. These vessels are particularly handsome cruisers and Foley Boatbuilding is well-known for high quality joiner work and attention to details in the mechanical and engine room layout.

Please read the owner's comments:  SEA LION represents almost everything we were seeking in a cruising boat. She is designed to carry two people very comfortably and for extended periods of time. Her forward cabin features over/under berths, large chest of drawers and cedar closet, and separate head and shower. She handles coastal seas extremely well and has sufficient speed to easily cover 60nm in a day while only burning 6-8 GPH. Anchoring and docking are facilitated by the lower helm station with its sliding side door. Finally, her striking lines and bright work make her a joy to own. Our use of SEA LION is varied from day outings or short overnights to 2-3 week cruises. We basically focus on the coastal area and rivers from Cape Elizabeth to the St. John River."

Please come and inspect this rare and well-executed offering. SEA LION is a simple but elegant flybridge cruiser, which has had the finest care by her present owner.

EXCEPTIONAL VALUE

DUNDIGGIN is an outstanding example of a 38' Jarvis Newman flybridge cruiser which was purchased by her present owner in 2001 in the Great Lakes where she'd been stored indoors and unused for seven years. Consequently, she shows like a much younger vessel after spending all but the last twelve years in fresh water. In 2009 she was repowered with a larger single 450 hp Cat diesel, and presently has approximately 1300 hours on her meter. Her knowledgeable owner who has been involved in the marine industry for many years, and has maintained DUNDIGGIN in first class condition upgrading her systems as needed, with 2008 awlgripped hull, deck and superstructure, 2013 Garmin HD 15" radar and plotter, 2013 3500w inverter charger, and 2014 AGM batteries. Other highlights include 2 zone air conditioning, Vetus thruster, 8kw Onan generator, Simrad AP20 autopilot, full flybridge enclosure and Ideal windlass. This vessel has a spotless engine room and has a spacious comfortable layout for the liveaboard or cruising couple. She accommodates four occasionally, in one vee berth stateroom, and two in main salon. The enclosed head includes a separate stall shower and fresh water Vacuflush head. the U-shaped galley is down but open to the salon. The expansive flybridge and spacious aft cockpit - "back porch" and ideal for socializing. Please come and inspect this traditional "Downeast" cruiser, and we thank you for your interest.

The Owners of SHADOW believe in the "keep it simple" principle. She is clean and bright, functional, and has easy access to her reliable Yanmar 30 hp diesel. She has new berth cushions, and she has stunning traditional lines. Sailors know Charlie Morgan designed fast cruising vessels. Don't miss this attractively priced 38' Morgan keel centerboard yawl. WAYFARER is one of the most handsome 38' " Downeast" cruisers on the market. Built by the renowned John Williams Boat Company, she has the popular Hardtop Cruiser configuration which eliminates the need to climb ladders to the Flybridge. She is powered with the "work-horse" Cat 355 hp diesel with under 4000 hours. Her present owner has done many upgrades as described above, which include Awlgripping the trunk cabin sides and top, and side decks and cockpit. Casco Bay Diesel did a thorough inspection of the diesel in 2015. A new Raymarine A127 color radar, GPS, AIS, and depthsounder were installed, new side pilothouse curtains and berth cushions, new holding tank and macerator, new Webasto cabin heater, new thru-hulls, new propane tank for stove, and new exterior varnish. WAYFARER shows well, and is ready for the 2017 season. Please call for your inspection and thank you for your interest.

CHARLOTTE ANNE was purchased by her fourth owner in 2012. He has performed an extensive refit over the last 4 years, which is well-documented in the listing above. The 3208TA Cats were removed and rebuilt along with the transmissions; the engine space was redesigned and almost all mechanical and electrical equipment is new (see above). The owner has reported that the reason he purchased CHARLOTTE ANNE was her outstanding handling and sea keeping characteristics. She turns in her own length due to her large rudders, she is extremely dry in a head sea, and she can handle a following sea well. Of course, the interior joinerwork of a Wilbur 38 is well-known as being superb, and the two stateroom layout is the preferred and desired layout. Please come and inspect this handsome cruiser. The upgrades and work have all been done, and now the cruising may begin.

OWNER'S COMMENTS: A living piece of art with a storied provenance, PHOENIX was built in Old Saybrook along the CT River in 1966 at the peak of wooden boat craftsmanship. She was designed by Winthrop "Wink" Warner and built by Seth Persson. Initially she was to be named Hexerie until fire destroyed Seth's boatyard. Townspeople backed Seth, who employed and mentored local young men, and a new boatyard was built. Phoenix was the first boat built after the fire (see Wooden Boat, Jan/Feb 2011. Number 218. p62. "Seth Perrson" by Caryn B. Davis). Early on she was a charter boat in the Caribbean and according to a brochure visited the Virgin Islands, Grenada, St. Martins, Martinique as well as the Bahamas and many others. In the 80's she was soloed across the Atlantic to the Mediterranean twice. She's a sturdy, Cutter rigged boat with 5/4 Honduran mahogany on steamed white oak frames 12" oc. In the 90's she cruised the islands of Penobscot Bay and after that, she's been knocking around southern New England primarily Narragansett Bay and Block Island. She's a thrill to sail and hits her stride on a broad reach. With an 8000 lb lead keel she is in the water rather than on it and gives a steady, ship like ride. She is also a real "eye catcher". She receives many compliments in every harbor she frequents.

BROKER'S COMMENTS: PHOENIX is a "classic" full-keel Cutter with an impressive pedigree, designed by Winthrop "Wink" Warner and built by the renowned Seth Persson in 1966, best-known as the builder of Carlton Mitchell's famous FINISTERRE. She is an outstanding example of American craftsmanship and seaworthiness, a previous owner having made two Trans Atlantic crossings. Two surveys are available upon request; done in 2013 and 2017. Please call us to inspect this very well maintained cutter, which has been lovingly cared for by her present owner of 10 years. Thank you for your interest.

MIR-A-MER is a very clean, above average Catalina 36 Tall Rig Sloop with the 5'10" keel which provides much better sailing performance than her "wing keel" sisterships. MIR-A-MER'S owner is both knowledgeable and caring regarding her maintenance. She is very clean inside and out. Two important features of this 1990 Catalina are her "easy boarding" stern platform, and her very attractive teak interior, not found on later Catalina models. TAKE FIVE is one of the Grand Banks 36 Sedans which rarely come on the market. Because of her layout, the more spacious salon is aft, with comfortable custom seating to port and starboard (unlike the classic), and a great flow from the salon to the aft cockpit (i.e a lovely back porch). Her galley is up, and her two staterooms (and large head and stall shower) are below. The flybridge is one of the most popular spots on the boat to gather at the end of the day. TAKE FIVE is owned by a couple who have spared nothing in her upkeep, including the engines and all mechanical systems. This is truly an extraordinary yacht which will impress anyone who steps aboard.

HUMDINGER really lives up to her name. This 36 Jarvis Newman Flybridge Cruiser was custom-finished by Joel White's Brooklin Boatyard in 1972, and has had the benefit of continuous upgrades and a major refit by her present owner since he purchased her in1993, as he owns a well-regarded boatyard in MA. The refit included a repower in 1997 to a single 350 hp Yanmar diesel, painted white bilges, rewiring with new circuit breaker panels, complete cosmetic refinishing, some new electronics, and many subtle improvement which makes this Downeast-style vessel ideally suited for extended cruising. Her present owner has gone South on HUMDINGER 10 times and reports that there is more than enough storage and excellent ventilation for this style of long range cruising. Please do not disregard HUMDINGER due to her age or her 4700 hours on her Yanmar diesel. The engine looks "new", and has always been properly maintained and in 1972 her fiberglass hull was heavily built of solid fiberglass so no coring issues will even appear in her hull. HUMDINGER is in the water awaiting your inspection; she is ready to head South if you are ready to go. Thank you for your interest.

SIRIUS is a handsome 36' Jarvis Newman Flybridge Cruiser finished to very high standards by Lee Wilbur & Company. Her present owner purchased her in 2006, and reports that she handles like some of the tankers that he has piloted into Portland Harbor for the last 25 years - in other words, she needs NO bow thruster, and is steady, able and true, and easy to maneuver due to her large rudder. He likes that she is heavy compared to the composite, modern vessels built today. This means she is extremely seaworthy and comfortable. Please review her photos and listing and call us for your inspection. Her 210 hp Cat diesel has been completely reliable and has just over 2000 hours. Thank you for your interest.

SAFARI is one of the most handsome Custom-built Downeast Cruisers by John Williams this office has seen. Known as a Stanley 36 Flybridge Cruiser, she is powered with a 320 hp Cat, cruising easily and economically at 12 knots, offering a seaworthy, comfortable ride due to her built-down hull with a long keel and oversized rudder. Her interior accommodations for four are finished in exquisite mahogany joinery.

An extensive refit was completed over a two year period from 2010-2012, effectively rebuilding or replacing almost every system in this vessel, making her one of the finest Downeast vessels to be offered for sale. In 2014-2015, she was not launched, but was kept in a heated storage facility. Presently for the 2016 season, she has just been launched, fully commissioned and is now ready for a new owner, as the Seller has purchased a Motorsailer. SAFARI is an outstanding vessel which will not disappoint the most discriminating buyer. She is immaculately-kept by her fastidious and knowledgeable Seller. She really is a "10" on a 1-10 scale, and it is rare for this office to see a vessel of this caliber.

Please come and inspect this unique offering and thank you for your interest.
