COMMENTS:  The present owner has owned this iconic "picnic cruiser" for 10 years. Due to his advancing years, he must sell SCARLET. We believe she is in very good condition except for her engine which apparently has one bad cylinder ( 125 psi when all others are over 300). Originally, this vessel was named DOWN HOMER and was featured in the first Chapter of Virginia Thorndike's book on the history of Maine Lobster boats.
