EMMA B (EX-WITCHERY) is a handsome 52' offshore trawler built in 1977 by Rumery's Boatyard for Mr. Rumery as his retirement vessel. Consequently, only the finest materials were used in her construction. Her present owner is only the fourth owner, which indicates what a fine handling, and truly comfortable and compatible liveaboard this vessel has been. DECK & HULL - PRELIMINARY LISTING
Double planked ¾” African mahogany and cedar planking over 2” x 2” white oak frames on 12” centers. Mahogany transom; white oak keel; black locust stem. 2021 new white oak wormshoe. Everdur bronze fastenings. Fiberglass over marine plywood epoxied decks. Fiberglass and epoxied aft cockpit deck. Teak swim platform with ladder. White hull topsides, red boottop, off white superstructure, black bottom. Sides and top of aft trunk cabin reepoxied and Awlgripped off white. 2020 new paint on superstructure, railings and main cabin windows. Hull was wooded 10 years ago. S/S stanchions and lifelines; S/S bow rail. Aluminum-framed opening ports with screens. Varnished teak exterior trim. Safe, wide walkaround decks with high bulwarks. 2022 Navy blue bimini; 2022 cushions for two side bench seats and helm seat on flybridge. Bronze rudder. Bronze keel bolts. Bronze thru-hull valves, replaced or refurbished in 2021. 2020 reglassed side decks, superstructure and aft cockpit, then repainted with Awlgrip. TANKAGE: Fuel: Approximately 600 gallons in 2 Corten steel tanks, repainted 2021. Water: 50 gallons in S/S tank, new 2005. Holding: Poly tank with y-valve and deck discharge or overboard.

Single GM Detroit 8V-71 350 hp diesel, FWC, Serial#8VA119885. Hour meter reads 2548 - not sure if operational. 2:1 Twin Disc MG-509 reduction gear (serial # 369-222). Auto/manual C02 system in engine room. 2022 20 gallon hot water heater. 40 gallon holding tank, new 2021, and 12V overboard pump-out. 2020 coolant hoses, engine wiring and battery cables replaced - new. 2020 Morse controls. Engine room blower. Dual helms. Hydraulic Capilano steering, rebuilt 2021. 2 main Racor fuel filters; one generator Racor fuel filter, new 2020. Well insulated engine room. 4 bladed RH 26x24 bronze prop, reconditioned in 2021. 2 1/4" S/S shaft. Tides Marine water-cooled dripless shaft seal.
