The Bristol 31.1 is a cruiser-racer sloop designed by Ted Hood. She is similar in appearance and performance to the successful sister designs of the  Bristol 35.5 and Bristol 45.5. The interior has the finest quality joinery throughout. The cabin sole is teak with ash inlay. A dinette table is bulkhead mounted with a drop leaf. The galley includes a 3 burner stove and large icebox.
