ENGINE & MECHANICAL:

  • Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmission.
  • 2" S/S shaft.
  • Damper plate replaced along with new exhaust engine hoses, new injectors, moved muffler and repositioned batteries to make engine room easier to maintain. New Sounddown was added in overhead. All new engine mounts, dripless shaft seal and cutlass bearing installed.
  • Oil change pump for main engine.
  • Three bladed 20" bronze prop.
  • Teleflex Sea Star hydraulic steering.
  • Dual Racor 500 fuel filters.
  • Six way valves added to allow easy shifting between tanks for supply and return to engine and generator.
  • Spare starter, spare raw water pump, miscellaneous engine spares.
  • Cruising speed: 7.5 - 8 knots.

ELECTRICAL: 

  • 12V DC & 110V AC electrical systems.
  • Kohler 9kw generator with 212 hours, in insulated box.
  • Magnum 2800 inverter-charger with battery monitor; two combiner battery switches.
  • 6-2V Lifeline AGM batteries in series provide 900 amp hour, but take up less space than the equivalent 8D batteries; 4 Group 31's under owner's berth to service bow thruster; 2 Group 27's for engine start and windlass in forward starboard engine room; 1 Group 27 for generator start in aft port corner of engine room.
  • Shore power and engine alternator automatically charge thruster batteries through Victron DC to DC battery charger.
  • One Racor fuel filter for generator.
  • 100 amp Balmar high output alternator.
  • 9 LED light fixtures in engine room.
  • 2017 two zone Marine Aire air conditioning, 16,000 BTU's each.
  • 2019 high capacity bilge pump and high water alarm.
  • 12 gallon Raritan hot water heater.
  • 120V Sears over-under washer/dryer.
  • DC circuits rewired in pilothouse to be more accessible.
  • Most light fixtures are LED.
  • 2021 smoke detector and C02 detector replaced.

 

 

ACCOMMODATIONS: 

  • Only 9 Krogen 42's were built with midship master stateroom which many buyers prefer.
  • Sleeps 4 in two separate cabins with two heads in a very attractive varnished teak interior with varnished parquet soles. There is also a Captain's berth in the pilothouse.
  • Starting forward, there is an enclosed head with Vacuflush fresh water head, stall shower and sink.
  • Next aft to starboard is the guest cabin with upper and lower berths to starboard, drawers under. There is a circular staircase providing private entry to the guest cabin.
  • Opposite to port is the washer-dryer followed by a circular staircase to the pilothouse.
  • Further aft is the owner's stateroom to starboard with a queen berth, hanging lockers, opening portlights, lockers and shelving.
  • Opposite to port is the second head, a spacious stall shower, sink and Vacuflush fresh water head.
  • The pilothouse has a Captain's chair and centerline steering, chart table, full engine instrumentation and electronics. Captain's berth aft of helm and port and starboard side doors to access foredeck area.
  • Next aft and down several steps is the spacious main salon with 2016 rebuilt L-shaped settee to starboard with Ultrasuede cream-colored upholstery.
  • A teak hi-lo dining table with fold table leaves; attractive rug.
  • To port are two maroon Stressless recliners with matching foot stools, and teak oval table between. There are also blue Bali shades for privacy.
  • The parquet teak sole was refinished in 2021.
  • Double doors open to aft cockpit.

 

 

GALLEY: 

  • At forward end of the salon is the U-shaped galley with new Corian countertops, new sink
